International Conferences:

The Centre organized the Joint Conference of the International Association for the History of Transport, Traffic and Mobility and Cosmobilities Network “The Future of Mobilities: Flows, Transport and Communication” (Santa Maria Capua Vetere, 14-17 September 2015) which was attended by 125 scholars from 25 countries.

Research Activities:

The Centre has two ongoing researches.

The first one – Why Campania has fallen behind? – it is dedicated to the history of Campania since 1945 until the present time.

The second one – Sustainable Urban Mobility from 1890 to present – it is dedicated to the development of urban mobility in Naples within an international network of universities: Philadelphia, US (Drexel University), St. Petersburg, RU (European University), Eindhoven, NL (Eindhoven University of Technology), Sao Paolo, BZ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro).

International cooperation:

The Centre established relations with: Academia Sinica (Taiwan), University of Houston (USA), University of Massachusetts Lowell (USA).
